A Richer Content Experience

The Dockwalk website is now a responsive, fast-loading platform. It delivers a richer content experience. Blaze CMS lets Dockwalk's editors create searchable content and directories. They can mix articles, product listings, and media.  ElasticSearch, part of the Blaze tech stack, ensures that relations, site, and directory search are fast and accurate across all content types.  The more immersive, related browsing experience has driven audience engagement.

Superports Directory and Google Maps integration

Dockwalk has also launched the new 'Superports' directory. This allows users to explore superyacht ports and marinas around the world, powered by the Blaze Google Maps plugin. Content editors can now  manage composite listings of data in Blaze's Page Builder. This includes both geographical data and searchable content listings.  Geographic data is rendered on maps, with related, searchable multi-format content.  This is achieved without web developer input. Again, searchable listings use Elasticsearch. It enables fast, accurate search results and dynamic listings.

Integrated Advertising with Google Ad Manager

Blaze CMS’s integration with Google Ad Manager provides Dockwalk with control and flexibility. The platform lets editors manage ads, including display, video, and native types. They can do this on pages, listings, headers, and sidebars.

With Blaze, Dockwalk can target ads contextually. It will share content categories with Google Ad Manager. This ensures ads are delivered in context, for higher engagement. This has boosted Dockwalk's ad yield, giving  advertisers better audience targeting. Sponsors are more engaged, and sponsor products are developing fast.

Faster, More Efficient Publishing

Blaze CMS has also transformed Dockwalk’s content management processes. Static site templates have been replaced with Page-Builder driven landing pages. Non-technical editorial and commercial teams can manage content, layouts and site structure. They can do this without help from web developers. This efficiency, along with Blaze's AWS serverless 'elastic' computing has cut costs. Site development, content production, and sponsor product development now continue apace, without the traditional web development roadblocks.

Advanced Analytics and Personalisation

The relaunch with Blaze has provided Dockwalk with deeper insights into its audience. Blaze CMS offers detailed user analytics at the page and content component level.  The Blaze data layer enables advanced audience segmentation and personalisation. These insights help Dockwalk's editors tailor content. It boosts engagement and has added value for readers and advertisers.

Conclusion: Impressive traffic and engagement growth.

Since migrating to Blaze CMS, Dockwalk has seen stellar, year-on-year growth in key metrics, including:

  • 38% improvement in performance
  • 817% increase in users
  • 484% increase in page views
  • 67% increase in average time on the page

The improvements have boosted user experience and traffic. They also increased ad revenue by better monetising the larger audience.

Easily the most productive relationship with any developer. They have one of the cleanest development processes anywhere…
